Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo is set to return from injury ahead of the final Spanish La Liga game of the season.

Etebo’s Las Palmas side will entertain Girona at the Estadio de Gran Canaria on Saturday evening and Etebo has been named in the 18-man squad to prosecute the game

His compatriots Imoh Ezekiel and Emmanuel Emenike were not named in the squad for the game against Girona.

The former Warri Wolves midfielder has already featured in the league on 13 occasions after he joined the club on a six-month loan from Portuguese club CD Feirense.

Etebo would be hoping to be part of the Super Eagles of Nigeria’s final squad to this summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia having been named in a 30-man provisional squad released by head coach Gernot Rohr on Monday.
