Ola Aina and Ademola Lookman have suffered relegation from the Premier League with Fulham after the Cottagers fell 2-0 at home to Burnley on Monday.
The loss in what was a must-win game for Scott Parker’s side leaves Fulham ten points from safety with only three games left to play.
Ashley Westwood and Chris Wood scored the goals that sealed Fulham’s fate.
It is a swift descent to the Championship for Fulham after just one season in the top-flight, and they join West Bromwich Albion and last season’s surprise package Sheffield United in making the drop.
It caps a disappointing few days for some Nigerian players in the Premier League with Semi Ajayi also falling from the top-flight with West Brom at the weekend.
Fulham’s relegation also casts doubts on the futures of Aina and Lookman both of whom joined the London side on loan from Torino and RB Leipzig respectively.
With the relegation it is expected that both players will return to their parent clubs.
