Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi played all 90 minutes as Everton lost 3-0 to Man City in Sunday’s Premier League game.
The Nigerian international who has made 36 appearance in the league, has scored two goals and bagged seven assists.
However, the league leaders made the breakthrough in the 37th minute with a moment of real quality from Ilkay Gundogan, who controlled a ball into the box from Riyad Mahrez before flicking an outside-of-the-foot volley over his shoulder and beyond Jordan Pickford.
And two minutes later City struck again. Erling Haaland had been very quiet but a mistake from Nathan Patterson allowed Gundogan to cross from the left and the big Norwegian was left unmarked to nod home.
It took City less than six minutes of the second half to make it 3-0.
