Jarrad Branthwaite netted a 94th minute goal to ensure Everton secure a dramatic 2-2 draw against Tottenham in Saturday’s Premier League game.
The visitors appeared on course to make it six wins in seven after quality strikes from the Brazil international, only for the Toffees’ 21-year-old centre-back, one of their players of the season, to pop up at the far post with his first goal of the campaign.
Jack Harrison also scored for Everton and after Spurs failed to kill the game in the second half, the battling Merseyside club always had hope they could take something from the match.
Spurs are fourth in the table on 44 points from 23 games, missing the chance to move level with second-placed Manchester City, though they have played a two games more. Everton have 19 points
