Enyimba To Depart For Abidjan On Friday Ahead Of CAFCC Clash

Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) giants Enyimba will leave the country for Abidjan on Friday ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup (CAFCC) clash with Ivorian side Williamsville.

The Group C leaders had beaten their opponents 1-0 two weeks ago to usurp them into top spot thanks to Ibrahim Mustapha’s 7th minute strike.

Two-time African champions Enyimba will move a step closer to the knockout stage with a win or draw against Williamsville in their clash at the Stade Robert Champroux in Abidjan on Sunday.

AC Djoliba of Mali and Congolese outfit CARA Brazzaville are the other teams in Group C.

Enyimba lead Group C with six points after three group games ahead of Williamsville (four points), AC Djoliba (four points) and CARA Brazzaville.
