Enyimba In Talks To Sign Asante Kotoko Captain

Asante Kotoko skipper Amos Frimpong has revealed that Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) giants Enyimba are in talks to sign him.

Frimpong also disclosed that he is ready to ply his trade outside Ghana and that a move to Enyimba would be in line with that as long as the two clubs can agree a fee for him.

Amos Frimpong talked about Enyimba’s interest in a chat with Graphic Sports via Ghanasoccernet, he said:

“I have been contacted by Enyimba of Nigeria over a possible move but at this stage it is being negotiated at the management level and we will see how it goes.”

“It will be great to welcome a new challenge in my career and I believe moving to Nigeria won’t be a bad idea either, should everything move smoothly.”

Amos Frimpong has had a phenomenal year after he led Asante Kotoko to win the President’s Cup and the FA Cup title following a 3-1 victory over rivals Hearts of Oak in the grand final.

The 25-year old right-back was also a part of the victorious Black Stars B team at the WAFU Africa Cup of Nations some months back.
