Two-time African champions Enyimba have gone to the summit of Group C in the CAF Champions League (CAFCC) after they defeated Ivorian side Williamsville 1-0 in a Matchday 3 clash played at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.

Ibrahim Mustapha was the hero for the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) side as he netted the only goal of the game to give his side three crucial points in the bid to secure a spot in the quarterfinals.

The win takes Enyimba (6 points) above Cara Brazzaville (3 points) and former leaders Williamsville (4 points) ahead of the second group game between bottom club AC Djoliba of Mali and Congolese side Cara Brazzaville.

The top two teams qualify for the last eight from Group C.
