
Italian giants AC Milan have parted company with their manager Vincenzo Montella after an underwhelming start to the season in the league.
The 7-time European champions invested over €200m in the playing squad over the summer however that didn’t transmit into success under Montella and that has led to his dismissal.

According to the club, former player Gennaro Gattuso will take charge of first team duties with immediate effect.
The final game of Montella’s time as manager proved to be the disappointing goalless draw with Torino on Sunday afternoon.
