England Boost As Rashford Returns To Training Ahead Of World Cup Opener

1966 World Cup champions England have been boosted with the news that Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has returned to training ahead of their opening match at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia.

England will start their campaign against North African giants Tunisia in a Group G clash on Monday.

Rashford was a doubt for the game after missing two successive training days (Wednesday and Thursday) with a minor knee injury but he’s set to feature following his return to training on Friday.

He recently made the headlines for his breathtaking goal in a 2-0 friendly win over Costa Rica and England fans would be hoping that he’s able to replicate that form at the tournament.
