Ejuke Scores As Antwerp Record Big Win To Reach Quarter-finals

Chidera Ejuke was on target for Royal Antwerp who fought from two goals down to beat Sporting Charleroi 5-2 and reach the Belgian Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday.

Two quick goals on 28 and 31 minutes saw Sporting Charleroi race to a 2-0 lead.

On 45 minutes Ejuke scored to help Antwerp begin the fightback.

Ejuke’s Nigerian teammate Alhassan Yusuf was also in action for Antwerp.

While Yusuf was replaced four minutes before the end of the first half, Ejuke went off in stoppage time.

Ejuke has scored one goal in seven appearances in the league for Antwerp.

Wednesday’s goal took his tally in all competitions to two for the season.

Also, the 25-year-old has scored two goals in his last four games.
