Egypt To Host 2019-20 CAF Champions League Final

Egypt has been selected by the Confederation of African Football as the hosts for the 2019-20 CAF Champions League final in the event that the finalists include an Egyptian and Moroccan team.

CAF settled for Egypt following draws conducted by CAF Director of Competitions Samson Adamu in Casablanca on Friday.

However, should two teams from the same country make the final, the title will be decided in their country.

The semifinals will see two teams from Morocco take on two Egyptian sides for places in the final.

Moroccan two-time winners Wydad AC take on record eight-time winners Al Ahly of Egypt in the semifinals on 17 October 2020, while three-time winners Raja Casablanca of Morocco face Egyptian five-time winners Zamalek on 18 October 2020 in the semifinals first leg.

Both matches will be played at the Mohamed V Complex, Casablanca.

The return legs will be played on 23 and 24 October 2020 respectively at the Cairo International Stadium, Cairo.
