Easy To Beat Plateau United – MFM Coach Tony Bolus (AUDIO)

MFM FC coach Tony Bolus says his team finds it “much easier” to beat sides like Plateau United who don’t sit back away from home as both sides gets set to clash in a Matchday 17 encounter in the 2019/2020 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

Bolus’ side who are 8th on the log welcome league leaders Plateau United to the Agege Township Stadium for Sunday’s 4pm kickoff.

Ahead of the tie, Plateau United’s coach Abdu Maikaba told busybuddiesng.com that his side will look to halt a run of a three straight away losses with victory in Lagos.

Maikaba’s comments, Bolus told busybuddiesng.com, revealed Plateau United’s intentions of being on the front foot in Sunday’s encounter and he says such a scenario will make it “easier for us to win the game” compared to when teams visit Lagos with the sole intention of defending for the entirety of matches.

“Everybody that’s playing a game is expecting to come and pick a point anywhere, but it’s a positive thing on our own side if you have that at the back of your mind it shows us you’re coming to play football,” Bolus said.

“And it’s much easier for us when we have a team that is coming to play to win. It’s easier for us to win the game, because as you’re coming you’re not sitting back, you want to win, that means you’ll come out to play. But sitting back makes it a lot more difficult for us. But the moment you come, you want to win, it’s very easy for us as well.”
