Nigerian-born defender Kevin Akpoguma has signed a new contract with TSG Hoffenheim until the end of the 2020/2021 season.
Akpoguma, 22, has impressed for his German club since making his debut against VFL Wolfsburg on October 22 prompting the club to hand him a new deal.
On his new contract, Akpoguma told the club’s official website that: ”For me, TSG is the perfect club for me to continue to develop and establish myself in the Bundesliga.”
”I find here an ambitious environment that gives young players the chance to improve and grow.” he added.
Kevin Akpoguma, who has made nine appearances since breaking into the first team at Hoffenheim, has been linked with Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr is reportedly keen on extending an invitation to him.
