The 3-time African champions remain in 47th spot with 635 points in the FIFA Ranking for the month of May.

Nigeria also remain 6th amongst the African countries behind Egypt, Morocco, DR Congo, Senegal and Tunisia.

Eagles World Cup opponents in Group D namely Argentina, Croatia and Iceland also maintain their respective positions.

Argentina (1254 points), Croatia (975 points) and Iceland (930 points) occupy the 5th, 18th and 22nd positions respectively.

World champions Germany maintain the no.1 spot ahead of Brazil, Belgium, Portugal and Argentina.
