Former Nigerian international Mutiu Adepoju has disclosed that the Super Eagles will have to play a perfect match in their Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup opener against Croatia on Saturday night.
The two sides meet at the Kaliningrad Stadium in Kaliningrad in a Group D clash and former Eagles midfielder Adepoju is expecting a tough game for Gernot Rohr and his boys.
Adepoju, who featured for Nigeria at the 1998 World Cup in France, made this known via a tweet from his official Twitter handle.
He tweeted: “I’m expecting a very tough match against Croatia. They have a very good team, and Nigeria have to play a perfect match without much mistakes to win. I know the Super Eagles can do it.”
