Eagles Drop Again In Latest FIFA Ranking

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped again in the latest FIFA Ranking released earlier on Thursday for the month of December.

In the new ranking, Nigeria drop one place from 50th to 51st and also had a massive reduction in points from 671 (November) to 640 points.

It will be recalled that the Super Eagles dropped nine places from 41st to 50th during the November edition of the FIFA Ranking.

They are now ninth in Africa behind Senegal, Tunisia, Egypt, Congo DR, Morocco, Burkina Faso, Cameroon and Ghana.

In comparison with last month, the Super Eagles were overtaken by the Black Stars of Ghana, who now occupy the 50th position.

On the world stage, the top 35 from last month’s ranking are unchanged with world championship Germany still the undisputed no.1 ahead of Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, Belgium, Spain, Poland, Switzerland, France and Chile as far as the top 10 teams in the world are concerned.
