Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun has joined Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion ahead of next season.
Balogun, 29, has teamed up with Chris Hughton’s side on a free transfer after his contract with German Bundesliga side Mainz 05 expired this summer.
He has signed a two-year deal with the Seagulls.
Leon Balogun was an important player for both club and country last season.
He helped Mainz 05 secure Bundesliga safety at the start of the month in addition to playing a starring role as the Super Eagles of Nigeria sealed a 6th World Cup appearance in the qualifiers ahead of Zambia, Cameroon and Algeria.
