Wantaway Chelsea striker, Diego Costa has reiterated that he won’t return to Chelsea, insisting his mind is set for Atletico return.

28-year-old Costa has failed to return to Stamford Bridge for the new season, claiming Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte sent him a text message last June, indicating his services are no longer required at Stamford Bridge.

In a statement credit to Costa by Globoesporte, Costa said: “My destiny is already set. I must return to Atletico Madrid next season,”

“There happens to be an impasse as Chelsea do not want to release me.”

“But I believe this situation will be resolved upon my return to Spain.”

Costa remains in his family home in Brazil despite being ordered by Chelsea to return to England and make himself available for selection, saying the club have treated him like a criminal.
