Details Of Neymar’s Nike Contract Revealed

The details of the contract Paris Saint Germain (PSG) star Neymar signed with Sportswear manufacturing giants Nike has been revealed.

His Nike contract includes mouthwatering Ballon d’Or and World Cup bonuses.

According to the contract documents published by UOL Esporte, the Brazilian will pocket $1million from Nike if he goes on to win the Ballon d’Or.

Neymar became the world’s most expensive player after he secured a transfer from Barcelona to PSG last summer.

He enjoyed an impressive debut campaign with PSG until the former Santos forward sustained an injury last month.

Neymar, who is on €40m a year salary at PSG, is expected to return to action before the end of the season in time for this summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia.

He will reportedly earn $50,000 if Brazil win the tournament in Russia.

In addition, Neymar will receive $200,000 if he is named Player of the Tournament or finishes as top goalscorer at the World Cup.

It’s worth pointing out that his earnings are dependent on his performances and who he is playing for.

The deal signed by Neymar in 2011 divides teams into four categories with category ‘A’ clubs including Chelsea, Milan, Manchester United, Arsenal, Juventus, Bayern, Inter, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
