Dessers Bags Third League Assist Of Season In Rangers’ Home Win Vs Kilmarnock

Cyriel Dessers provided an assist as Rangers returned to winning ways after overcoming Kilmarnock 3-1 in the Scottish Premiership on Tuesday.

It is Dessers’ third assist in the Scottish league in 17 appearances with six goals this season.

Rangers went into the game on the back of a 2-1 defeat against rivals Celtic.

Dessers set up Rangers’ first goal with four minutes left to play in the first half.

He was replaced by Portugal’s Fabio Silva in the 71st minute.

His Nigerian teammate Leon Balogun did not feature after he was sent off against Celtic.

Rangers still remain in second place behind champions Celtic in the league table.
