December Player Of The Month: Record Breaker Kane, Salah, Others Make List Of Nominees

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane and seven others have been nominated for Premier League player of the month for December.

Kane had a phenomenal month after he scored two successive hattricks against Burnley and Southampton to break the Premier League record for number of goals scored in a calendar year (39 goals).

Newly crowned African Footballer of the Year Mohamed Salah has scored 17 goals in the league this season to help Liverpool to a top four spot on the keenly contested race for next year’s UEFA Champions League (UCL).

Other nominees on the list include Marcos Alonso, Marko Arnautovic, Roberto Firmino, Jesse Lingard, Riyad Mahrez and Nicolas Otamendi.
