Dazzling Moses Makes List Of Top 100 Footballers

Super Eagles forward Victor Moses has made the list of top 100 footballers released by popular sports television channel ESPN.

The Chelsea star enjoyed a stellar season for both club and country and is the only Nigerian player that made the prestigious list.

He helped Chelsea win the English Premier League (EPL) title and also played a major role as Nigeria qualified for a sixth FIFA World Cup final appearance.

The former Liverpool, West Ham United and Crystal Palace man had earlier been rewarded for his quality performances with nominations in both the CAF and BBC African Footballer of the Year.

The popular sports channel wrote the following about the 26-year old: “There were raised eyebrows aplenty when Victor Moses signed a new contract with Chelsea in 2015 shortly before setting off for a season loan with West Ham. After all, he’d spent the past two seasons on loan at Liverpool and Stoke.”

”It was like watching a nice saloon car sign away the best mileage of its life to an airport hire firm but when Antonio Conte arrived, he saw things he liked. Pace. Stamina. Courage. Versatility.

”And when he switched to a back three, Moses came into the team as a wing-back and never came out again. He signed another contract in March, 2017. This time, it felt right. ”

Victor Moses’ value has soared in recent months and he is currently valued at £30 million ( approximately N14.28 billion).
