Crystal Palace Seal Max Meyer Transfer

Premier League side Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Germany midfielder Max Meyer on a free transfer.

The 22-year-old became a free agent this summer after his contract at German Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04 expired and the Eagles have wasted no time in snapping him up ahead of the new season.

He has signed a three-year deal at Selhurst Park to become the club’s third summer signing after goalkeeper Vicente Guaita and fellow midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate.

While speaking about his move, Max Meyer told the club’s website that: “I’m proud to be here and I hope I can make the next step in my career.”

Four-cap German international, Max Meyer rose through the Schalke 04 youth system into the first team before scoring 22 goals and providing 24 assists in 192 appearances.
