
Namibia kept up their one hundred per cent record in the ongoing Kwibuka tournament in Rwanda as they saw off Nigeria in the first semi-final to become the first finalists of this year’s edition.
Namibia won the toss and elected to bat first scoring a total of 156 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 20 overs. Yasmeen Khan scored 78 runs off 53 balls as the best performer with the bat for Namibia.
In the second innings, Nigeria could only manage a total of 65 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs.
Namibia won by 91 runs.
Nigeria will hope to end the tournament on a winning note when they play hosts Rwanda in the next third place match.
