Torino produced the most surprising result of the Coppa Italia round of 16 with a stunning 2-1 win over AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday night.

Italian fullback Lorenzo De Silvestri and his compatriot Simone Edera scored either side of the interval to give Torino a 2-0 lead before young Czech forward Patrik Schick halved the deficit with five minutes remaining.

The visitors thereafter held on to secure a Turin Derby meeting with city rivals Juventus.

The Italian champions dispatched Genoa in a straightforward 2-0 win at home courtesy goals from Paolo Dybala and substitute Gonzalo Higuain.
