AC Milan will play Lazio in the Coppa Italia semifinal after seeing off rivals Inter 1-0 in their last eight clash in what was a Milan Derby duel played at the San Siro on Wednesday night.

Both sides played out a goalless affair at the end of regulation time prompting the unwanted rigours of extra time.

Substitute Patrick Cutrone then went ahead to break the deadlock for AC Milan with one minute of first half (extra time) remaining and Gennaro Gattuso’s men thereafter held on for a big win.

They will play capital club Lazio in the first leg at the San Siro on January 31, 2018 before their second leg clash scheduled for the Stadio Olimpico on February 28, 2018.
