Bosnia international midfielder Senad Lulic scored as early as the sixth minute and it proved enough for his Lazio side to secure a last four berth with a 1-0 win over Fiorentina at home.

The capital club reaped the rewards for a fast start with the early goal and they maintained the lead afterwards to stay on course for the Coppa Italia final scheduled for their home stadium, Stadio Olimpico, on May 9, 2018.

Lazio will now face the winner of Wednesday’s Milan Derby clash between struggling AC Milan and Inter in the semifinal next year.
