Holders Barcelona have earned a slender 1-0 lead in the 1st leg of their semi-final clash with Valencia at the Nou Camp as they continue the bid to retain their trophy.

In-form Uruguay striker Luis Suarez proved to be the matchwinner as he scored the only goal of the game midway into the second half to give the Catalan giants something to hold on to ahead of the second leg.

The second leg will take place at the Mestalla next week Thursday with the winner expected to face either Sevilla or Leganes in the Spanish Copa Del Rey final.
