Commonwealth Games Update: Nigerian Athlete Amusan Takes Gold Medal Count To Eight With 100m Hurdles Final Win

Oluwatobiloba Amusan has taken Team Nigeria’s gold medal count to eight at the ongoing Gold Coast Commonwealth Games in Australia after she won the women’s 100m hurdles final earlier on Friday.

Amusan won the race with a time of 12.86 secs to take gold for Team Nigeria

Her compatriot Blessing Oborodudu had previously won gold in the women’s freestyle 68kg with a 4-3 win over Danielle Lappage of Canada in their final clash.

With 8 gold, 5 silver and 5 bronze medals, Team Nigeria presently occupy eighth spot on the medals table.
