Coman Pens New Bayern Deal Until 2023

Exciting French winger Kingsley Coman has signed a new five-year contract at German champions Bayern Munich as reward for an impressive start to the current season.

The former Juventus star was a peripheral figure last season as he ended up starting 10 Bundlesliga games only.

He has however found a new lease of life this season and that has prompted the club to hand him a new deal that’s expected to take him to the 2022/23 season.

Speaking on the new deal, Coman said: “I’m really happy that I’ll be playing for this club for a long time to come. I feel at home at Bayern and in Munich.”

The club’s sporting director, Hasan Salihamidzic, had good words to say about Coman after he signed a new deal.

The former club player said: “Kingsley Coman has shown fantastic progress this year and has rightfully become a senior France international while at Bayern.”

“We’re pleased to have tied Kingsley down to a long-term contract and are convinced he’ll become a true great at Bayern in the future.” he added.

Coman has three goals and five assists in all competitions for Bayern, and he would be hoping to start where he stopped when the second half of the season kicks off next year.
