Danish international defender Andreas Christensen has penned a new four-and-a-half-year deal at Stamford Bridge.
The new contract will take the 21-year-old defender to 2022.
Christensen, who has made 22 appearances this season, joined the Blues from Danish side Brondby in 2012 but was loaned out to Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach from 2015 to 2017.
Speaking on his new deal, the Dane said: “I’m just happy to be committed to Chelsea for the future. I’m enjoying it at the club and everything is working well.”
