Chris Coleman Appointed Hebei China Fortune Manager

Chris Coleman has been named the new manager of Chinese Super League side Hebei China Fortune.

The former Welsh national team boss replaces Manuel Pelligrini who left to take up the West Ham United job last month.

Coleman, 48, has been without a job since he left English League One side Sunderland after he failed to prevent the North East club from suffering relegation in the Championship last season.

The former Coventry, Fulham and Real Sociedad manager won just five of his 29 games at the Stadium of Light.

Hebei China currently occupy 10th spot on the Chinese Super League table after 11 games.

The league’s mid-season break will end on July 17.
