Chelsea To Be Without Morata For Weeks

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is set to be out of action for up to six weeks with a hamstring injury.

The Spanish Football Federation confirmed that the striker, who limped out of the Blues 0-1 defeat to Manchester City on Saturday after just 35 minutes, has been diagnosed with Grade Two hamstring injury.

Alvaro Morata is now expected to miss Chelsea’s games against Crystal Palace, Watford, Everton, Bournemouth, and back-to-back Champions League games against AS Roma.

He’s scored seven goal in nine appearances in all competitions for Antonio Conte’s side, and his absence could be a huge blow to the Premier League champions.

Chelsea fans didn’t seem too excited about the news
