
Fiorentina owner Rocco Commisso has taunted Chelsea over the amount of money spent on transfers which failed to yield result on the pitch.
Commisso made reference to Chelsea while hitting out at former Fiorentina stars Federico Chiesa and Dusan Vlahovic, who left the Stadio Franchi over the last few years to join Juventus.
Commisso insisted that Chiesa and Vlahovic joined Juventus for the money.
Chelsea were the busiest Premier League club in the January transfer window after securing eight new incomings.
In the summer they had brought in the likes of Wesley Fofana, Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Marc Cucurella and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang –
While during the winter window, 2022 World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez, Malo Gusto, Joao Felix, Benoit Badiashile, David Datro Fofana, Mykhailo Mudryk, Andrey Santos and Noni Madueke were added to the squad.
