Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has been involved in a horrific car crash while he was on his way home from training earlier today.

Bakayoko, 23, was driving along Blundel Lane near Chelsea’s Cobham facility at about 3:30pm when the accident happened

The French midfielder, who sealed a £40m move from AS Monaco to Chelsea in the summer, was travelling towards Oxshott, Surrey, when the incident happened. The Police were later invited to the scene of the accident

Bakayoko, who was involved in the incident alone, was said to have suffered minor bruises though his participation in the weekend’s league clash with hosts Stoke City is not in doubt.
