French midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has completed his loan transfer to Italian Serie A giants AC Milan.

The Chelsea misfit leaves the former Premier League champions for AC Milan on a season-long loan deal worth €5m.

His loan contract includes an option for a permanent transfer of €35m at the end of the 2018/19 season.

The 23-year-old largely struggled at Stamford Bridge despite starting 34 games of his 43 appearances since joining Chelsea from French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco in a £40m deal last summer.

The one-cap French international star became surplus to requirement due to the arrival of midfielders Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic from Napoli and Real Madrid (loan) respectively this summer.
