Al Merreikh of Sudan goalkeeper Akram El Hadi Salim was at his best to deny hosts Morocco in a goalless draw with his side in what was their final game in Group A at the ongoing African Nations Championship a.k a CHAN.
Both teams had already qualified after winning the first two matches in the group and they cancelled each other out though Morocco finished as group winners because of their superior goal difference.
In the other group game, Ibrahima Sankhon’s 15th minute strike was enough to give Guinea a 1-0 win over Mauritania in what was a dead rubber game with both sides eliminated as at the last round of games.
Group A (Final Standings)
