Striker Ayoub El Kaabi netted a hattrick to lead tournament hosts Morocco to the quarterfinals with a 3-1 win over Guinea in their second Group A match at the ongoing African Nations Championship ‘CHAN’.

Forward Saidouba Camara’s goal for the Guineans turned out to be a mere consolation for the West Africans who were eliminated as a result of the latest loss in Group A.

Sudan later joined Morocco in the quarterfinals following their 1-0 win over Mauritania courtesy Walaa Elda’s goal after half am hour.
