Congo have moved to the top of Group D at the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco after they stunned African champions Cameroon in their opening group clash.
AC Leopards midfielder Junior Makiesse was the hero for the Congolese team as he won a penalty off Cameroon goalkeeper Jean Gwot and thereafter converted the 73rd minute penalty.
His team thereafter held on in the remaining minutes to claim a huge scalp.
In the other Group D game played earlier, Angola and Burkina Faso played out a goalless draw.
