Josh Maja was on target for West Bromwich Albion in the Baggies 2-1 defeat to Leicester City at the Hawthorns on Saturday afternoon.
It was the Nigerian striker first goal for Carlos Corberan’s side.
Wilfred Ndidi set up Kiernan Dewberry-Hall for the game’s opening goal on 72 minutes.
Maja took the place of Congo Democratic Republic midfielder Grady Diangana 15 minutes from time.
The forward thought he had earned West Brom a draw after slotting home in the 85th minute.
However, Leicester City stole it in stoppage time – Harry Winks converting a clinical counter-attack to hand them all three points in stoppage time.
West Brom paraded Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi for 90 minutes in the game.
Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho was also in action for the entire duration of the game.
