Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has ripped into Reds goalkeeper Simon Mignolet after he produced a shocker during yesterday’s 3-3 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in what was a Premier League clash.
Mignolet was clearly at fault for Arsenal’s second goal and Carragher didn’t spare him in his analysis after the game.
In his words, Carragher, who is now a pundit, said: “There’s some movement on the ball but you have to do better than that – it’s shocking from the goalkeeper.”
“Until they get a keeper of decent quality they won’t challenge the top sides.” he added.
Despite Mignolet’s woeful contribution, Liverpool maintained their top four place ahead of the Gunners with the draw.
