CAFCC: Enyimba Will Return To Port Harcourt To Face Williamsville

Enyimba will return to the Adokiye Amiesiamaka stadium in Port Harcourt to face Ivorian side Williamsville in a Match Day 3 fixture in this year’s CAF Confederation Cup.

The match is slated for 5pm local time on Wednesday, 18th July.

In 2016, the People’s Elephant played all their home games in the CAF Champions League at the Adokiye Amiesiamaka stadium – following renovation work at their traditional home in Aba – but failed to go beyond the group phase.

The 2-time CAF Champions League winners have been playing home games in the league and on the continent away from home since renovation commenced at their Aba home in 2015.

Enyimba currently sit 3rd in Group B of the competition with 3 points following a 2-0 win against Malian giants, Djoliba in Calabar and an embarrassing 3-0 thumping in the hands of CARA Brazzaville of Congo, before the World Cup break.
