Burnley continued their fine start to the new season under manager Sean Dyche ‘Ginger Mourinho’ following their latest victory over Newcastle United at home.

Republic of Ireland international Jeff Hendrick netted the only goal of the game in the 74th minute to give his side a 1-0 win in what was Burnley’s 4th league victory of the season.

The win was enough for Burnley to leapfrog Newcastle United into the top seven after recording 16 points from the first 10 games of the season while the aforementioned Newcastle (14 points) drop one place from 8th to 9th on the English Premier League (EPL) table.
