Bundesliga Review: Stuttgart, Bremen Move Away From Relegation Troubles With Respective Victories

VfB Stuttgart and Werder Bremen have significantly moved away from the relegation zone after they saw off Borussia Moenchengladbach and VFL Wolfsburg respectively in their Matchday 24 clashes.

Stuttgart (24 points) defeated Gladbach 1-0 courtesy Daniel Ginczek’s 5th minute strike thus moving four points clear of the relegation playoff place though they stay in 14th spot while their opponents also stay in 10th spot with 31 points.

Werder Bremen have also moved four points clear of the relegation playoff place with a 3-1 victory over VFL Wolfsburg at home.

Ludwig Augustinsson and Florian Kainz (2) got the goals for Bremen while Dutch defender Paul Verhaegh scored what turned out to be mere consolation.

Bremen (24 points) stay in 13th spot despite the win while VFL Wolfsburg (23 points) are still three points clear of the relegation playoff place in 15th position.
