VFL Wolfsburg have been plunged into further relegation fears in the German Bundesliga after the former champions suffered a humiliating 3-0 loss at the hands of Borussia Moenchengladbach in their Matchday 31 clash played on Friday night.

First half goals from Lars Stindl, Raffael and Christopher Kramer got the win for the hosts against VFL Wolfsburg.

Borussia Moenchengladbach (43 points) stay in 8th spot despite the win while the relegation threat over VFL Wolfsburg (30 points) still lingers with the former winners still in 14th spot and are just out of the relegation playoff spot on goal difference having played a game more than their rivals Freiburg and Mainz 05.
