Brighton and Hove Albion will feature in a second successive Premier League season after they stunned Manchester United 1-0 for their biggest victory of the season.

Pascal Gross scored the only goal of the game in the 57th minute despite the best efforts of Marcos Rojo on the goalline thereby making sure that his South Coast club will feature in the top flight next season after the win sealed survival.

The win was Brighton’s 1st top flight victory over second-placed United in 36 years (1982) and it leaves them with 77 points while their opponents move up the table to 11th spot with 40 points.
