FC Barcelona have announced the signing of Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic for the price of 60 million Euros in a swap deal involving Arthur Melo moving to Turin for 75.2 million Euros.

The 30-year-old will head to the Camp Nou after the end of the season with Arthur heading the other way.

The Bosnian began his career at French side Metz in 2007 before joining Olympique Lyonnais the next year where he helped the Lyon side pull through to the semifinals of the Champions League for the first time in their history during the 2019/2020 season.

His brilliance with the ball caught the eye of Roma and led to him penning a deal with the Italian side in 2011 before joining Juventus five years after.

He can play in a variety of midfield positions and is renowned for his brilliance in dead ball situations.
