Breaking: Golden Eaglets Player Reportedly Gunned Down In Cult Related Violence (Graphic Photos)

Golden Eaglets of Nigeria player Duru Junior has reportedly been killed in a shoot out between suspected members of rival cult groups media report suggests.

The player who is the younger brother of Super Eagles and Lobi Stars defender Ebube Duru was reportedly caught in a crossfire between rival gangs in Auchi Polytechnic, Edo state, on Tuesday.

Details are still sketchy at the moment with Police not having confirmed the incident but several reports suggest he had been visiting a friend at the Polytechnic before Tuesday’s unfortunate tragedy.

Duru Junior had been a member of the Golden Eaglets but was dropped from Manu Garba’s squad to the 2019 UEFA/CAF U17 tournament currently taking place in Turkey.

Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets have won both of their games in the competition dispatching hosts, Turkey and Guatemala.
