Boxing: Cardiff Picked As Venue For Kubrat vs Joshua Heavyweight Bout Next Month

IBF and WBA heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua will defend his world titles against Bulgaria’s Kubrat Pulev at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on 28 October.

The Bulgarian is the mandatory challenger for Joshua’s IBF title following the failed rematch with Klitschko due to the Ukrainian opting for retirement.

Joshua, 27, will take on the 36-year old Pulev who’s renowned for his unorthodox style in what would be the fourth night of boxing held at Wales’ national stadium.

Matt Skelton overcame Danny Williams, Joe Calzaghe, Peter Manfredo and Mikkel Kessler, have all enjoyed the ambiance at the principality.
