Boca Juniors Threatens To Sue Shanghai Shenhua Over Unpaid Carlos Tevez Transfer Fee

Argentine football giants, Boca Juniors have threatened to file a law suit against Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua over unpaid outstanding Carlos Tevez transfer fee.

Former Manchester United and Juventus forward, Carlos Tevez, joined the Chinese club from Boca Juniors last January for a fee around €11m, and Boca Juniors claims Shanghai Shenhua has not paid the outstanding fee since the initial payment was made when the transfer was completed.

President of Boca Juniors, Daniel Angelici told local reporters: “We are preparing a claim to present to the Court of Arbitration for Sport because we have written several times to the club and have had no response,”

33-year-old Tevez, who is currently in Buenos Aires to treat his calf injury, has made only 11 appearances for the struggling Chinese side this season scoring 2 goals.
